Mission:
To serve the next
generation of human service practitioners, researchers, policy analysts, and
administrators interested in the development and management of programs and
best practices for serving TANF families and the working poor. These developed programs, utilizing best
practices, will assist in achieving and sustaining asset development and wealth
acquisition for America’s most vulnerable populations.
Vision:
To be recognized both
locally and nationally as an innovative laboratory utilizing scientific and
empirical knowledge, applied research methodologies, and relevant social
science systems for testing promising ideas and generating best practices that
address the ever-changing family dynamics, thus the needs of America’s
children, youth, and aging adults.
